YTL AI Labs’ Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs all use of content and services provided by YTL AI Labs Sdn Bhd (formerly known as FrogAsia Sdn Bhd) (“YTL AI Labs”), including but not limited to the use of any chatbot, web assets, application programming interfaces, or other software application that is powered by any of YTL AI Labs’ ILMU models (collectively, “Services”).

The Services are intended to be used solely as a general-purpose artificial intelligence tool for generating and processing content based on user-provided inputs. The Services are not intended to be relied upon as a source of truth, nor to replace human review, decision-making, or professional judgment in any context.

The Services are not designed for use in, and must not be used as the primary basis for, decisions in legal, financial, medical, safety-critical, or other high-risk contexts (e.g., to make credit, educational, employment, housing, insurance, or other important decisions). The Services do not operate autonomously and are not intended to control or execute real-world actions without human direction and oversight.

Use of the Services via APIs or in connection with third-party software, including but not limited to chatbots, coding assistants, or agent-based systems, is undertaken at the customer’s sole risk. The customer is responsible for implementing appropriate controls, monitoring, and validation mechanisms.

The Services must be used in a responsible and respectful manner.

YTL AI Labs may update this Policy at any time by posting a revised version on the website https://docs.ilmu.ai/docs/terms.

Please read this Policy carefully before using the Services. Your access to and use of the Services is conditional upon your acceptance, without modification, of all the terms contained herein and all other rules, policies, or procedures that may be published from time to time. You may not access or use the Services and may not accept this Policy if you are below 13 years old or the minimum age required in your country of residence or if you are a person barred from using the Services under the applicable laws of Malaysia or the country that you are resident in. If you disagree with any part of this Policy, then you may not access or use the Services.

You may access and use the Services subject to your compliance with this Policy, applicable laws and regulations, and any other documentation we may provide to you from time to time. By using the Services, you agree to comply with the latest version of this Policy. If you are using the Services on behalf of an entity, you represent and warrant that you have authority to accept this Policy on the entity’s behalf. This Policy (as updated from time to time) is also incorporated into, and should be read in conjunction with, each agreement between YTL AI Labs and you. Each YTL AI Labs’ customer shall ensure that its end users comply with all obligations set out in the latest version of this Policy or in any applicable law or regulation.

Illegal or abusive uses or content

You must not use the Services for any illegal, harmful, unethical, abusive or offensive purpose, including (without limitation) doing any of the following:

• ‍Unlawful, harmful or fraudulent activities: undertaking activities that are illegal or that encourage or aid illegal conduct or that are harmful to or take unfair advantage of others. Examples of such activities include (without limitation): downloading, uploading, creating or disseminating unlawful material in violation of applicable laws or regulations, including the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Act 1998, Penal Code, or Personal Data Protection Act 2010; making available or offering for sale any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or predatory goods or services; engaging in any misleading or deceptive conduct in trade or commerce; operating a harmful scheme (such as a Ponzi or pyramid scheme); engaging in identity theft; collecting personal information or confidential information through improper means (such as phishing, pharming, password theft, web crawling or data scraping) or illegally disseminating or using personal information or confidential information; ‍
• Offensive or abusive content: downloading, uploading, creating, distributing, promoting, facilitating, or disseminating content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive or invasive of privacy or that incites or threatens violence or hatred, promotes terrorism, extremism, intimidation, or hateful behavior targeting individuals, groups, animals, or property, creates a risk to the physical safety of others, unlawfully discriminates against individuals or groups on the basis of sex, gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, or disability or is otherwise offensive, including content that constitutes child sexual exploitation or depictions of nudity or sexual activity obtained or disseminated without the consent of those depicted; and/or
• Violating the rights of others: violating, or encouraging or aiding the violation of, the legal rights of others, including (without limitation) infringing, misappropriating, or making unauthorized use of the intellectual property rights or rights in confidential information of a third party, or representing that the output was human-generated when it was not.

Unauthorised use

You must not make unauthorised use of the Services or any computer system, communications system, network or software used in connection with the Services (each, a “System”), including (without limitation) doing any of the following without YTL AI Labs’ prior written consent:

• ‍Unauthorised access: accessing (including, without limitation, allowing, granting or sharing access to) or using any Service without YTL AI Labs’ permission;
• Circumventing restrictions: using any means to bypass System access, protective measures, safety mitigations, or usage limitations or controls, including (without limitation) limits on any access to or usage of storage, compute capacity, memory capacity, connectivity, bandwidth or other System resources;
• Interference: interfering with, disrupting or intentionally overloading any System or intentionally causing any System to function other than as intended (including by making any unauthorised modifications to any System);
• Specifically prohibited network services: operating a Tor exit node, a public VPN, an open recursive domain name server, an open proxy, an open mail relay or other similar service; and/or
• Specifically prohibited activities: mining any cryptocurrency, acquiring or exchanging illegal or controlled substances, engaging in or facilitating human trafficking or prostitution, facilitating the destruction, disruption, interference, and unauthorized access of critical infrastructure or systems, developing or designing weaponization processes for the production, modification, design, illegal acquisition, deployment, or synthesis of weapons, explosives, dangerous materials, or other systems designed to cause harm to or loss of human life, creating or facilitating the production of psychologically or emotionally harmful content, creating or disseminating deceptive or misleading information, conspiratorial narratives, or fake personas, undermining democratic processes or engaging in targeted political campaign activities, using the Services for criminal justice, censorship, surveillance, or prohibited law enforcement purposes, generating or depicting or requesting for sexually explicit content, sexual intercourse, sex acts, incest, bestiality, sexual fetishes, sexual fantasies, or erotic chats, sending (or facilitating the sending of) any unsolicited mass electronic communications (i.e. spam), performing or participating in or developing tools for or otherwise facilitating any denial of service attack, creating copies of, or derivative works of, any software in the System (except to the limited extent applicable law specifically permits such activity) or intercepting or monitoring traffic, usage or other activity other than as expressly permitted.

Security

You must not do anything to compromise the security or integrity of the Services or any System, including (without limitation) doing any of the following without YTL AI Labs’ prior written consent: ‍

• ‍Security testing: testing the security of the Services or any System, including (without limitation) by undertaking any network or vulnerability scanning or probing or any penetration testing;
• Reverse engineering: reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive any underlying source code, algorithms or ideas from, any part of the Services or any System (except to the limited extent applicable law specifically permits such activity);
• Malware: downloading, uploading, managing, creating or disseminating any malware including (without limitation) any virus, spyware, adware, ransomware, Trojan horse, worm, botnet, or time bomb; and/or
• Exploiting computer or network systems: Intercepting communications or monitor devices without authorization of the system owner, creating automated tools to compromise multiple systems at scale for malicious purposes, bypassing security controls, developing persistent access tools to operate below normal system security levels

Use of AI-Generated Content

ILMU model uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. When you use the Services, you acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date. The services may provide incomplete, incorrect, or offensive output that does not represent YTL AI Labs’ views. If the output references any third-party products or services, it does not mean the third party endorses or is affiliated with YTL AI Labs;
• the Services are not designed for use in, and must not be used as the primary basis for, decisions in legal, financial, medical, safety-critical, or other high-risk contexts (e.g., to make credit, educational, employment, housing, insurance, or other important decisions);
• the Services do not operate autonomously and are not intended to control or execute real-world actions without human direction and oversight;
• you should not rely on output from the Services as a sole source of truth or factual information, or as a substitute for professional advice; and
• you remain responsible for any decisions made or actions taken based on output from the Services, including chatbot responses.

YTL AI Labs recommends reviewing important information independently, evaluating output for accuracy and appropriateness for your use case, using human review as appropriate before using or sharing output from the Services, or consulting a qualified professional when necessary.

User Content and Responsibility

If you input text or submit data to any Service provided by YTL AI Labs, or any chatbot or other software application that is powered by any of YTL AI Labs’ ILMU model:

• You confirm that such content does not violate any third-party rights, laws, or this Policy;
• You represent and warrant that you have all rights, licenses and permissions needed to provide input to the Service;
• Except to the extent internal AI or training is not permitted pursuant to the terms of our agreement with you, you grant us the right to process the input and generate responses solely for the purpose of delivering, developing, and improving the Service;
• You retain ownership of the input and remain solely responsible for any consequences arising from your use of the Service or the chatbot or other software application that is powered by any of YTL AI Labs’ ILMU model.

Links to Other Websites

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by YTL AI Labs. If there are links to or redirects from YTL AI Labs’ Services to third-party websites, YTL AI Labs has no control over and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that YTL AI Labs shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such websites or services. YTL AI Labs recommends you to acquaint yourself with and read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party websites or services that you visit, and YTL AI Labs makes no warranty or representation as to the security or content of such third-party sites and your access and use of such third-party sites are at your own risk.

Violation of this Policy

YTL AI Labs reserves the right to monitor usage of the Services to ensure the quality of the Services provided, Service improvement (where required), and compliance with this Policy. If YTL AI Labs determines that there has been a violation of this Policy by you, YTL AI Labs may at its sole election (and without limitation):

• remove or disable access to any data or content in violation of this Policy;
• intercept, block or restrict any of your content or traffic; and/or
• suspend provision of, or disable access to, the Services to you until YTL AI Labs is satisfied that you have remedied the violation and will not continue to violate this Policy.

If YTL AI Labs determines that there has been a serious violation of this Policy (including any criminal activity) or that there have been three or more violations of this Policy, by you, YTL AI Labs may terminate provision of the Services to you.

YTL AI Labs’ rights in respect of any violation of this Policy apply even if a violation is unintentional or occurs without your knowledge or authorisation.

YTL AI Labs is under no obligation to take any action in respect of any violation or suspected or alleged violation of this Policy. Knowledge of, or acquiescence to, any violation or suspected or alleged violation of this Policy by YTL AI Labs does not constitute a waiver of YTL AI Labs’ rights.

Reporting and Investigation

YTL AI Labs may, but is not obliged to, investigate any violation or suspected or alleged violation of this Policy. If you become aware of any suspected violation of this Policy, you must inform YTL AI Labs. YTL AI Labs may require your assistance with any investigation into a violation or suspected or alleged violation of this Policy.

YTL AI Labs may report any activity that it suspects violates any law or regulation to law enforcement agencies, regulators and/or appropriate third parties and YTL AI Labs may collaborate with, and collect and provide information to, such bodies to aid the investigation and prosecution of illegal activity.

Governing Law

This Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia. YTL AI Labs’ failure to enforce any right or provision of this Policy will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of this Policy is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of this Policy will remain in effect. This Policy constitutes the entire agreement between us regarding YTL AI Labs’ Services, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Services.

Amendments

YTL AI Labs reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to amend, change, update, modify, or replace this Policy at our sole discretion. By continuing to access this website or use the Services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Services.
